I have to make a custom motor driver for an upcoming project and I have never made one before, so I decided to test it out by making a simple H-Bridge driver (TIP142, TIP147) NPN/PNP Transistors.
It turned out pretty well, but I can say the least this will be the last time I use a project board instead of a self etched or printed circuit board (especially for wiring of working with 10amps). I have a PIC16F1877A onboard the motor driver to control PWM for motor speeds. This was mostly a test of making everything from scratch. Sadly the next driver I have to make has to handle stall currents of ~100amps.
Super messy, but hey it works.
