Prototyping Banes! circuitry and program code.

Don’t mind the oscilloscope clipped to ground. Was testing if I was going to leave programming circuit on the final PCB for Bane! or just take the DIP MCU out and program it elsewhere.

Parts are beginning to arrive… slowly.

Well still need the 2 other motors and wheels, chassis will hopefully be finished tomorrow. Still awaiting Digi-Key order for all the electronic parts.

Undercarriage and line sensors

Things are coming together. I changed the control board to a Baby-O by Pololu. Then I changed the motor driver to the one on the Baby-O (We will see how this works out) I am heat sinking it to help allow heat dispertion. We laser cut the chassis out of the final mirror like finish .030 steel. I mounted the motors and made a few solder connections. I finished the circuit for the CNY70 sensors. I should have read the data sheet a little closer for the enemy sensors because I don’t have a 1Ohm resistor as per the datasheet. So Digi-Key order is in progress! My own Dohyo will be getting cut soon now for testing purposes.

Testing Bane!’s line detection.

Once we finish this project it will be on to Sokor with our new maxon motors!
